South West Foundation Grants
The South West Foundation was voted Regional Funder of the Year in 2007 in recognition of the excellence of its grants service. It currently offers two grant programmes:
Small Grant Programme
The South West Foundation currently has its Small Grant Programme open for grants up to £500. This programme is aimed at small Voluntary and Community Organisations with charitable aims supporting people most in need in communities and focuses on rural areas, market and coastal towns. Network Development Fund to Support networks of Funding Advice Workers
Small Grants are also currently available to support existing or developing networks of funding advice workers.
Networking and Empowerment Fund
Do you want to have a voice and influence
A partnership Fund between South West Foundation and creating
excellence. Small grants up to £1,000 are available for a variety of
networking activities, including give people a voice and influence decisions
in their communities and to support funding advice worker networks.
Community Grants
This is a partnership programme between the Foundation,
The Learning Curve, the Learning and Skills Council and the European Social Fund. The aim of the programme is to support Third Sector Organisations to undertake work with individuals who are furthest removed from the labour market and to give them the skills and confidence that they need to move
forward.
Grants up to £12,000 are available although most are expected to be between £6-8,000.£470,000 is available throughout the region (excluding Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly).
