The Somerset Fundraisers Group
The main purpose of the group is for those in Somerset with a genuine interest in funding for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) to network with other fundraisers and to share information.
The Somerset Fundraisers Group (formally the Taunton Deane Fundraisers Interest Group) was established in December 2004 by Mind TWS and Taunton Deane CVS. Thanks to a grant from The South West Foundation and creating:excellence, the group has now become a county-wide initiative.
The group has close working relationships with The Institute of Fundraising (South West), The Somerset Funding Advisor Worker's network and other fundraising networks.
Membership will give you a chance to meet, network and exchange ideas with other likeminded people, who are fundraising in Somerset. You will receive information and reminders about, and minutes of, quarterly meetings. You will also be consulted with, from time to time, on a range of issues concerning fundraising in Somerset and have use of the Trusts and Grant
Finder Handbook 2008, held at the Vista offices.

News of courses and events scheduled to run, details of planned quarterly meetings and minutes of previous meetings can all be found through these pages.
We always welcome ideas and feedback from members, particularly regarding content for the quarterly meetings.
