The Princes Countryside Fund
Notice of forthcoming deadline (18 May)
The Prince’s Countryside Fund will open for applications on Monday 18th April 2011
The Prince’s Countryside Fund has three goals:
- To improve the sustainability of British farming and rural communities, targeting the areas of greatest need;
- To reconnect consumers with countryside issues; and
- To support farming and rural crisis charities through a dedicated emergency funding stream
Timings: Applications will be accepted for one month. The closing date is 18th May at 17.00pm. All applications received after this date will not be considered. All applicants will be informed if they are successful by the end of June 2011
Eligibility: Applications will be accepted from organisations but not from
individuals or statutory bodies. To find out whether your organisation might be
eligible for support, please look at the Eligibility and
Guidance Document
Funding: The total amount of funding available in this round of funding will
be up to £250,000. The maximum level of funding for individual projects will be
£50,000.
Decisions on which projects will be funded are made by the Fund’s independent Board of Trustees.
