The Pilgrim Trust
The Pilgrim Trust supports projects that come under the four main headings of:

social welfare;
-
art and learning;
-
preservation; and
-
places of worship.
The Pilgrim Trust gave away approximately £2 million in 2008. The average size of grant given in 2008 was £23, 500 but, nearly half of grants were for £20,000 and under.
There is a small grants fund for applications of £5,000 or less and a large grants fund; from which the average size grant being £20,000.
The Trustees normally meet in January, April, July and October. Applications and supporting information must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the meetings.
