The Foyle Foundation Main Grant Scheme
Grant for third sector organisations (TSOs) undertaking projects in the arts, education or health sector in the UK.
Most grants range between £10,000 and £50,000. Grants for £500,000 may be payable over several years.
The Foyle Foundation Main Grant programme is provided and administered by the Foyle Foundation and is available for TSOs active in the UK.
The Foyle Foundation has merged with its sister charity, the Batty Charitable Trust, following a strategic review and has restructured its grant programmes.
It will now run two funding schemes, the Main Grants programme for arts and learning and the Small Grants programme for smaller charities covering all charitable activities.
The scheme is intended to support registered charities and public schools undertaking projects that will improve health care or learning resources, or advocate performing and visual arts.
There are two strands under the Main Grant programme; arts and learning:
- Arts: This strand is designed to improve the sustainability of the arts and support groups which work to achieve this. Specific projects are welcomed, rather than general community arts schemes.
- Learning: This strand is designed to support projects which assist with access to places of knowledge e.g. museums and libraries. Projects assisting those with special educational needs or learning difficulties are particularly welcomed.
