In todays climate, fundraising is becoming more and more difficult so ViSTA's aim with this website is to give you a little bit more help.

We will upload information on available funds as we receive it and link to websites that offer help and advice.  Also available are various publications to help you write your bid.

Vista also hosts the Somerset Fundraisers Group.  This is a chance for those with a genuine interest in funding for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) to network with other fundraisers and to share information.

Launch of Funding Central website

Funding Central  is a free smart website for the voluntary sector and has just been launched.

It will provide access to thousands of funding and finance opportunities, plus a wealth of tools and resources supporting organisations to develop sustainable income strategies appropriate to their needs.

Grassroots Grants threshhold increased

The Government has increased the threshold of Grassroots Grants to allow voluntary organisations with annual incomes of up to £30,000 to apply.

Up until now, only charities with an annual income of up to £20,000 could apply.  Voluntary organisations with annual incomes of up to £30,000 are now  eligible to bid for grants of between £250 and £5,000 to fund community activities.
